Film Analytics

Movies are a big business, reaching millions of viewers around the world.  Film studios and distributors, with millions of dollars at stake in film and television projects, use marketing analytics to reach audiences with finished works.

Why shouldn’t you, as a screenwriter or independent filmmaker, make data analytics work for you?

Using market research for my own screenwriting efforts, I have developed methods that anyone can use to gauge and adjust audience interest in their own works, in stages ranging from concept to development to distribution and marketing.

Marketing analytics will not save an ill-conceived project, but can help hone a solidly built concept, screenplay, or film so that it can find a producer, distributor or audience.

I’m developing an online course that outlines these methods, but I’m also available for consulting at reasonable fees to show you how to use basic analytics tools to take your work to the next level.  Send me an email for more information.
